Real mountain honey from the peaks and hills of the Kaczawskie Mountains. Bees from BeeKapella work in ecological meadows and in wild forests. Our hives are located in three points with a phenomenal view from the mouth of the hive:
BeePoint - Okole
BeePoint - Łysa Góra
BeePoint - Skopiec
For sale honey: dandelion, honeydew from coniferous trees, white clover flowers and goldenrod.
Mountain honey from the forests and meadows surrounding Kapella.
In the summer season, the owners of the BeeKapella apiary, Edyta and Michał, and Tomasz, the owner of the Łukawski Pasieka, look after 3 million bees on the Kapella Pass. Together, we organize a visit to the family apiary, where mountain honey is produced, and we introduce the daily life of bee families. We are talking about bees, hives and beekeepers. We show basic beekeeping works, break bee frames, discover the secrets of the family honey farm, look into the hive and try the available honey. We try to take care of all pollinating insects, because thanks to them our world is colorful and full of goodies.
Visiting the mountain apiary BeeKapella
During the tour, participants receive beekeeping frames to make on their own, try the available types of honey, and learn about the process of obtaining honey in the family Bee Workshop.
We provide beekeeping hats and protective gloves necessary in the apiary. The participant should wear full shoes, a sweatshirt with long sleeves and long pants (protection against possible stings).
During the visit, we move between two points in the apiary, the so-called BeePointy. In one of them we will check what the hive looks like from the inside. People who are allergic or have concerns may opt out of this part of the program.
